Brian Frederick
Brian grew up in sports. His father, Bob Frederick, was a former player, coach, athletic director and sports education professor at the University of Kansas. Two of Brian’s brothers played college basketball, one at North Carolina and one at Kansas State.
Brian received a B.A. from the University of Iowa, an M.A. from the University of North Carolina and a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Colorado. Before joining Sports Fans Coalition, Brian worked as a senior editor at Media Matters for America.
