CBS Station in Miami Buys Up Remaining Dolphins Tix to Avoid Blackout

For the fourth time in five games, businesses had to step in to buy up remaining Dolphins tickets to keep the game on the air locally this Sunday. This time, the CBS station that will carry the game had to buy up the tickets so it would be able to air the local advertisements it had sold. Unfortunately, local broadcasters are often forced to do this because of the antiquated and counterproductive blackout rules.

Sports Fans Coalition has asked the FCC to end its blackout rule, something that should be welcomed by EVERYONE except individual team owners.
