Cincinnati Bengals Announce (Seventh Straight) Blackout for This Weekend

Despite a 3-2 record, the Cincinnati Bengals have already announced they won’t sellout this weekend and will black out the game locally for the seventh straight home game. It is unclear why the NFL and the Bengals think that blacking games out now will lead to crowds later, but they must. Otherwise, they’d be making the games available to fans — the same fans who are paying for one of the worst stadium deals in history.

To remind you, the NFL could just eliminate its blackout rule, grant an exception for the Bengals fans or Bengals owner Mike Brown could buy up the remaining tickets for a fraction of the cost and give them to charity. But apparently, the Browns and the NFL hate their fans who can’t afford or are unable to go.
