QUICK KICK: Love March Madness; Hate New TV Schedule

by Brad Sullivan

Have you seen the TV schedule for this years March Madness?

Games can be seen on CBS, TNT, TBS & truTV.

As a fan I am not into these changes, growing up every game was on CBS.

Think about the fans that don’t have anything above basic cable. What if their team is playing on TNT and they don’t have access to that channel?

I undestand the position of some who say that they want control to be able to flip back and forth from one game to the next and that there are many pros to this revamped approach to programming the NCAA Tournament, but the problem remains for those who aren’t so lucky.

Sports fans who don’t have access to all of the channels that will be carrying games. This is the first year that these changes are being implemented, and it will be interesting to see how the coverage is handled by the different networks.

The bottom line for Sports Fans Coalition is that all fans deserve to have access to the games, and we will continue to fight for fans’ rights.
